letters for local press urging NHS to stop plan to allow building on King George
I am encouraging local Councillors and activists to sign a letter to go to Recorder and Wanstead and Woodford Guardian for publication this week to ask the NHS to withdraw their plan to allow housing on "surplus" land on the King George site. The letters are as follows For the Recorder: Dear Sir or Madam The 2010 NHS plan for closing King George A&E has a number of stages until the final closure. Some of these stages have already taken place at King George, such as closing some beds designed for emergency admissions and replacing them with rehabilitation beds.
